From: Peter Card <100010.366@CompuServe.COM> Subject: Errata for Samurai Transcribed from the errata sheet in Samurai. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Samurai Scenario Clarifications The last thing I did before shipping this game out the door was to sit down one more time and check all the scenario setups in their final form, just to make sure it was all there and understandable. In this process, I found a few items that do need to be clarified. I want to especially thank Dave Bush for helping me out with much of the final checking/setup work. You might want to note these in your scenario book. Here goes: Anegawa/Kawanakajima maps: North is the 42xx hexrow. Nagashino map: North is the top of the map - xx00. Okehazama Setups: (Somebody's gonna wonder about this) The setup hex (3112) for Kajikawa (Oda's army - ID #5) _is_ correct. He's not in the fort. Anegawa Setups: For Tokugawa's clan, use the "ST" counters for Tokugawa's units in 1417-19 (there are no "T" units) Nagashino setups: For Tokugawa's clan, use the "ST" counters for Tokugawa's units 1716, 1815, 1915-16, and 1817 (there are no "T" units). Sakakibara's (ID #3 in Tokugawa's Clan) setup lists 2 AS (5-6). This should be 1 AS (5-6) and 1 AS (7-5) instead. Sekigahara Setups: Ukita (Ishida ID#6) lists 4 KB - the countermix has 3KB and 1KBH - those are the right units - just somehow added an "H" on a counter by mistake. Similarly, Kinoshita (Ishida ID#9) lists 2KB - the countermix has 1 KB and 1 KBH - those are the right units. Okehazama Map and Victory Point hex: One of the VP items on page 6 is "Each starred crossroad hex:" with a list of hexes. Change hex 3522 to 3622 (where the crossroads is located) and note that there is no star printed on the map there. it should be, and 3622 _is_ a VP hex. Enjoy the game! Gene
