Subject: Re: Beaufort in Kingmaker From: "laserdog" KINGMAKER & BEAUFORT ... 1) If the King is sent on an Embassy, can any other nobles go with him? Our ruling was that they could. That's the way we play ... 2) If a noble with Beaufort got sent somewhere, could he take Beaufort with him? We do NOT allow this. 3) If Beaufort is captured in battle, does the capturing force have the option of keeping him as king as his entire force, or is he treated like a noble in that regard? Treated like a noble .... 4) If Beafort is King and vacillates, can he still call parliament? We ruled that he could since the rules say that a vacillating noble cannot move or attack - with no mention of parliament. We do not allow this. Just because he's vacillating regardless of hat the rules don't say..... # 2 and 3 gave us fits, though, and brought up other questions - can Beaufort be left alone? Can he control another royal heir counter? YES and YES Also, with Beaufort, he keeps coming back and coming back and prolongs the game. ? He's supposed to come back and give everyone an opportunity to draw him. He could always be loyal and remain in the persons hand. Also what are you using as victory conditions. He's only an heir if he's the last white around. If he's crowned was the yellow's also crowned ??? The moment he dies as the white heir, and there is a SOLE king and heir in the yellow line the game ends. These are the rules that are used at the AVALONCON Kingmaker tourney. Not that that means anything .... Thanks .. George Sauer III Laserdog@bright.net
