Steven Bucey - 09:21am Aug 11, 1997 PST (#455 of 504) Jack, Here is what I have for offical errata for WWII:ETO/TSR 2cd edition. It is kind of dated, but it is what TSR sent me a few years ago. Errata for WWII: ETO Game (TSR Deluxe Second Edition) 1. Map · Hex W2117 belongs to Spain, not France · Footnote 6 on the Axis EP Cost table should state; "1-4 season delay." 2. Order of Battle 2.1 United Kingdom · U.S.L.L. DD Units enter in specific seasons: 5 in autumn 1940, 1 in winter 1941, 2 in summer 1941. · Generals Montgomery and Horrocks both enter during the summer seasonal turns (1942 and 1944, repectively). 2.2 United States · BBs Texas, New York, and Arkansas (together with the 1942 cruisers, destoryers, aircraft carrier, and sub) are placed on the map, not in the force pool, upon U.S. entry into the war. 2.3 Axis · One of the German U-boats in the starting OB is placed in the autumn 1939 box on the turn track. The other starts on the map. · Two German 1943 adds (schnorkel sub; 2*-2/6 jet fighter) are not placed in the force pool until the start of the summer 1943 seasonal turn. · Rumania gets a 3-6/1 (not a 2-6/1) air unit. 3. Rule Book · Page 4, sample counter. The HQ attack rating is the left number; command radius is the number on the right. · [6.1] Procedure (for Interdicting German Iron Route). A Norwegian partisan is not considered a land unit for purposes of the fourth situation (land unit occupies Narvik). · [14.4] Restrictions on (Air) Interception. Exception to first paragraph: A naval air unit can possible make more than one interception of an enemy air unit from each hex its CV occupies during a step; plus the third paragraph in rule 9.0. · [37.2] Building Units. Add: "The cost to build a one step infantry unit is half that listed on the EP cost tables." · [37.6] Placing Units on the Map. Add to the seventh paragraph: "STPs can be placed in any friendly port; the do not have to be within the home country." · [39.6] U.S. Declaration of War. Upon U.S. entry, all U.S. naval units and the naval air unit in the 1942 OB are placed on the map (except BB Massachusetts). All other 1942 U.S. units are placed in the force pool. 4. Scenarios · Scenario 1: U.K. Setup – The Gibraltar setup units should be placed in the sea area northwest of Lisbon, not in Gibraltar. Also, place 2-4/1 naval air units on the Victorious and Ark Royal. · Scenarios 7 & 8: Germany begins with HQs North, Center, South, A and B. Also, the U.S.S.R heavy cruiser Molotov is added, placed in the Black Sea at the start of the scenario. · Scenario 9: The U.K. starts with a 4*-5/2 (not a 4*-4/2) fighter. Gibralter is U.K. friendly territory. U.K. seasonal income is 30 EP, plus 10 EP for its colonies, plus Greek EP when Greece is active. · Scenario 13: German OB – The German armor (one unit) and air (four units) listed in the force pool at the scenario start are placed on the map instead. U.K. OB – Missing the following footnotes: · 4 - Ark Royal, Furious, Illustrious, Victorious, Glorious, Indomitable, CVE. · Auchinleck, O’Conner · BEF, Middle East. · Scenario 14: German OB – There are no German battleships in the force pool; delete superscript number "2."
