It never got made, just > developed. Sigh. I met the designer at the long departed Little Soldier in Alexandria Va. The owner is listed in the credits as a play tester. I have some erratta I got from the designer about 10 years ago. Here it is: 11.7 replace "return" with "retain". 10.3 replace the sentence starting with "Use the 1704 set up line in Flanders" with:- Use the 1704 set up line in Flanders, the 1708 on the moselle Trives(V-22), Laundau(CC29), Rasta((EE29), Kehl(GG28), and Bavaria to the Allies. 6.3.1 Fortress can only be dismantled on turn AFTER capture. 5.3 Burgandy is a 6(-1) leader. 4.4.2 delete last sentence. 4.3 & 4.9 Only Armies may siege. 4.2 All movement for phasing player is considered to be at the same time. 4.8 If several forces intercept in same hex they are considered to have expended as many MP's as the forthest moving force. 4.9.3 Add ( and organic detatchments ) to the sentence that starts "An HW result means ..." 4.6.13 (massive correction) replace the sentences starting with "Villeroi rols a 6" with the following: "Villeroi rolls a 3. 3-1=2 or 10% so the Allies lose 6 factors (60 x 10%). The Allies roll 4. 4 + 2 = 6 or 25%, so the French lose 16 (64 x 25%). Villeroi rolls 2 against Marlborough and 5 against Overkirk, failing to harm either. The Allies roll a 1 against Villeroi, returning him to the pool. The French loss exceeds 15% so they rout. The Allies pursue. rolling a 2. 2 + 2 = 4 or 15% so the French lose 9 factors as prisoners (54 x 15%). They retraet 8 hexes and are demoralized for 6 turns (52%). They abandon their seige train, and it is captured. The Allies advance 2 more hexes, and attack a strong point. The defender (6-2) rolls a 6 and flees to safety. The allies have 4 MP left. Villars (8+2) and Boufflers(7+1) are behind a line (Malplaquet) with 80 factors (First French Army). Marborough (9+3), Eugene(9+2), and Orange (7-1), Their three armies totalling 110 enter and attack. The French value is *+2 the Allies 8+2 minus the line for 8-1. The Allies roll 2, that is 10% for 11 French dead (110 x 10%) . The French roll 6, that is, 6 + 1 = 7 or 30% for 24 allied dead (80 x 30%). The allies roll a 1 (continue with example) -- Robert Lindsay, Computational Minion, Storm Prediction Center, Norman OK robert@zorak.spc.nooa.gov Oh, God, could it be the weather... T. Amos #include
